BOB DYLAN
Bob Dylan was born on 24th May, 1941 in U.S. His paternal grandparents, Zigman and Anna Zimmeraman, emigrated from Odessa in the Russian Empire to the United States following the antisemitic pogroms of 1905. His mother's grandparents, Bejamin and Lybba Edelstein, were Lithuanian Jews who arrived in the United States in 1902. In his autobiography Chronicles: Volume One, Dylan writes that his paternal grandmother's maiden name was Kyrgyz and her family originated from Istanbul. When he was young Dylan crashed his 500cc Triumph Tiger 100 motorcycle on a road near his home in Woodstock, New York, throwing him to the ground. Though the extent of his injuries were never fully disclosed, Dylan said that he broke several vertebrae in his neck. During his Dinkytown days, Zimmeraman began introducing himself as "Bob Dylan". In his autobiography, Dylan acknowledged that he has been influenced by the poetry of Dylan Thomas.

Hi Emma,
I enjoyed chatting to you last night in the chatroom. What a pity you had to go so soon! You asked me to tell you about what I enjoy doing in my spare time. So, here it goes!
I'm really interested in films. I especially love action films and I prefer romantic and comedy films.
I also like all sports but I prefer basketball and tennis. When I was young I practiced basketball and tennis, but now I don't play. Last year, when I played basketball I hurt my left hand.
I enjoy listening to pop music. My favorite singers are Britney Spears and Beyonce but I never go to concerts. The song that I lone from Beyonce is "Halo" and Britney Spears "Womanizer".
That's all for now. If you want to know anything else, let me know! Please send me an e-mail and tell me about your interests.
Targeting Reading. CYBERANGELS: Before we read a text, look closely at the title and the photographs to help we understand the main idea.
